The CRC After Mass gatherings are a great way to enjoy everything that the CRC is all about. Each week following the "Contemporary Music" Mass at Holy Trinity 30-60 people get together at a local restaurant/tavern for socializing, cocktails,food and conversation. It is a great way for those who have never come out to enjoy the group in a friendly and casual atmosphere. It is also the anchor event that our "veteran" members come out to connect with long time friends.
The group normally meets on the sidewalk in front of the church following the mass.

Cooking Class- Surf and Turf Clambake

Sign up today for this special cooking class where you will have a hands on learning experience on how to prepare a great meal with both fish, shellfish and meat all while helping to feed yourself and the people for our after mass Gathering at the Grotto later that night.
You will learn the art of grilling, sauces and spices plus get a recipe book for you to impress yopur own friends in the future!
Our cooking classes usually cost $60 but because you are helping to cook for the event later that night you will only pay $30 and enjoy the class, the food and free admission to the event that night!

Book Club Picnic

This month the CRC Book Club will be discussing "Left to Tell - Discovering God Amidst the Rwandan Holocaust" by Immaculee Ilibagiza.
In 1994, Rwandan native Ilibagiza was 22 years old and home from college to spend Easter with her devout Catholic family, when the death of Rwanda's Hutu president sparked a three-month slaughter of nearly one million ethnic Tutsis in the country. She survived by hiding in a Hutu pastor's tiny bathroom with seven other starving women for 91 cramped, terrifying days. This searing firsthand account of Ilibagiza's experience cuts two ways: her description of the evil that was perpetrated, including the brutal murders of her family members, is soul-numbingly devastating, yet the story of her unquenchable faith and connection to God throughout the ordeal uplifts and inspires. Her Catholic faith shines through, but the book will speak on a deep level to any person of faith. Ilibagiza's remarkable path to forgiving the perpetrators and releasing her anger is a beacon to others who have suffered injustice.
We will gather in Central Park for a picnic and discussion. Please bring some food or drink to share. Details as to location will be sent to those who register.

CRC Night at Tavern on the Green

A CRC tradition! Join members of the CRC on the outdoor Part Patio at Tavern on the Green in Central Park. DJ Billy Bonds plays all types of fun party music including 80's, disco, dance, pop and rock. There is a huge outdoor bar and dance floor, drink specials, an outdoor bar menu and plenty of places to sit and talk to all your new friends.
Weekly prizes are also given away which include: Broadway show tickets and other great surprises from that week's guest organizations.
Admission is $5 with RSVP by 4pm the day of and $10 without (pay at door ). You may rsvp for as many friends as you'd like.

CRC Night at 'Altar Boyz' The Musical

( about and hour and a half north of NYC ) It is an amazing weekend filled with socializing, activities, hikes, swimming (pool), sports, food, games, prizes, discussion groups and an amazing Mass ( literally "in the grass" ). This year the CRC will be presenting 2 great ways to celebrate the Christmas Season with the CRC community. This is the first and "affordable" alternative to our Formal Christmas "Gala" which will be hosted December 13th at Bryant Park Grill. Join us for one or the other or both!
